had mine done 2 weeks a go, it didnt hurt. the worst bit is the clamps- i didnt realise theyd even done it, its not as bad as your ears. it hurts more after when you catch it etc. just dont go swimming for weeks after cos it will get infected. 16 should be the age you get it done- not any younger! and never ever ever do it yourself. it wont get infected AS LONG as you clean it properly x |

i had mine peirced the day before yesterday :) it hurts a little a bit worse than yurr ears :) but mine still hurts a little now when i catch it :( or when i wake up n stretch it :( even when i bend down :( n it looks horrible cos i have a half innie half outtie belly button :( no now i have a little crink in between the the balls x |

My mum pieced my belly when I was 7 I loved it at 10 I pierced the bottom when I went to high school all my friends got theirs pierced when they saw mine in year 7 in year 9 I pierced my tounge nose nipples and another too on my belt my mum thinks their cool and now has her tounge nose nipples belly( already done at 13) and hood( genitals) o think it's realy cool and my mum wants we too get my hood pierced too we are of to do it next week yay. |

i have had my belly done 2 years age. it was ok at first it didnt hurt there was no pain at all. after a while i started getting bad belly aches. 2 weeks after there i went bed one night and woke up in hospital next day. i carnt remember that night. my mum said i was screaming with pain in my stomache. the hospital had told my the haveing it done gave me blood poisoning. i have to have an operation. i have no belly button now, and a wopping scare. just think before you have it done. please x |

I just got my Belly Button (Navel Pierced) on Sat May 20th/2006. My piercing is only 4 1/2 days old. I just wondered how long it will hurt for, I have the starter ring. What eles should i put on it besides the sea Salt??

I had my navel pierced a month and a week ago. it didn't hurt at all not even a pinch. there was no pain until 2 days later and that was when I slept on my side or stomach. Just keep area clean twice a day and keep ad&d ointment to keep area from drying out and keep end of balls from sticking to your skin. the area around navel darkened at first but is now lightening up. |

Well, I'm 18 and I've wanted a navel piercing for like 4 years now? What stopped me was MY PARENTS. They were like, "DON'T YOU DARE!". I don't know what got into me 2 weeks ago cause I was like what-the-hell and went to get my navel pierced. It's healing pretty fast on the external. All dried now. Not exactly a pretty sight (because of the scabs) but I LOVE IT! For those who're afraid that it might hurt... well, it did... just for ten seconds. What's pain for ten seconds to get something you love? I say, GO FOR IT! |

i am 14 nearly 15 and i have my navel pierced since i was 11. my mum says to me that i cant have it done untill i am 16 but tat is ages away and i really want it done. Most of my friends have it done and she says that it looks nice but doesnt want me to have it done, i even said that i will pay for it but she wont have it. I didn't even ask my parents permission. i just went a head and did it. i wasn't as painful as i thought it would be and the only pain i did feel lasted for about 10 seconds. find someone to sign for you or find a place where you don't need parental consent. |

I dont really think navel piercing was painful at all!! and yea the scar will go away cuz my sister's went away my parents didnt allow me at first cuz my sister's had gotten infected but afterwards they changed thier mind i love my bellyring!! |
