Brenda, SC You can't sue someone for something they didn't do. Just as you can't expect compensation for something you didn't endure. Otherwise, I demand my restitution for my Irish ancestors kidnapped and sold for slaves by the Africans on the Barbary Coast. As well as my native American ancestors whom the entire lot of Americans are indebted to. Black people are such hypocrites. Why you don't hear them bemoaning the treacherous treatment of the American indians whom everyone knows suffered worse? I will tell you, it's because they are greedy, self centered, little hypocrites. I'll bet if you ask most "African Americans" have never even heard of the "trail of tears" much less actually care. 5/14/2008
Benny Anthony I am african american living auckland new zealand, living in this country has a lot of paralles to our history . But one thing that stand out in my mind is that this country can resolve issues that occurred during colonization going back to 1840 the treaty of waitangi in regards to land wars and the indeginouse people were dominated by the british. Today the Maori people the indeginouse is being compensated for the wrong and ill treatment to the people at that time. So what is wrong with the goverment, the insurance company faceing the responcibilies of thier historical wrong doings towards the african people, they did not give a choice!!! 10/23/2007
