Colin Richards Thanks for that , Amit,it helped us here to understand the 'not offering a shot ' part.I do believe however that in the case of any doubt, it is not a case of the batsman getting the benefit, but more accurate to say that the 'status quo ' remains.We are enjoying the England West Indies match on Radio 4 just now.
