Dear All ! I have been to varanasi a couple of times. For reasons I am not aware, this is one place which draws me again n again. Out of many, one particular intense spiritual experience haunts me at all times. There is an ancient temple of Maa Tara in Bangali Tolla in Varanasi. It is almost a non-descript kind of temple which will not attract any particular notice to a first timer. But the moment one enters inside into the inner courtyard, one starts getting a feel of errie silence and almost still atmosphere inside. One has to take a round de-tour at an elevated level to reach Maa Tara’s abode.
Just after taking the turn, one finds himself in a large hall with a high celing. The hall is empty except hundreds of Bats clinging to the ceiling n the walls and a flat wooden cot with plain wooden planks with a soiled cheap blanket covered with a cheap bedshhet. There one finds an old shrunken,neglected, haggard looking person with a week old stubble chatting with himself or some one …(?) who will not even notice you entering. At first glance you will just ignore him as a half mad person and will sneak ahead towards Maa’s temple while avoiding him. Ther you find Maa Tara in all her Majesty standing with an open smile beckoning you with open arms.
As you look around for a priest to assist you in your offerings, you will be surprised to be directed to the same old half mad(?) person you avoided in the hall. From that moment of surprise onwards, what you will witness is PURE MAGICAL SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE, an INTENSE MOTHER - SON relationship between Maa n her half mad(?) old Son, which one can only experience, but caanot describe in words.
When ever I go there, I only enjoy Maa’s play with her old mad(?) Son, instead of praying or worshipping her.I simply forget all my prayers, stutis, mantras and even myself. Because When you see Maa playing with her mad Son, there is no need to pray her or worship her. Time loses all it’s significance, seems to stand still. You just are aware of the moment only. And you wish the moment would never end.
There have been many other experiences, but Maa may not like them to be narrated.

Dear Ana n all ... it is not important nor it is necessary to reach to a conclusion as to who among Shiva or Durgaa came into being 1st. In fact, despite what the various Puraans mention, what is true is that -It is Shakti who n what is responsible for all the creation, sustenence and also it's destruction to enable fresh creation. This Shakti is Adya Shakti and has both male n female aspects in it. It is only with the fusion of both these aspects, that the entire creation was created and shall continue to be so. One of these 2 is Static and the other is Dynamic n Vibrant. This dynamic or vibrant aspect is manifested in the form of Mother nature and is all pervading. These are popularly known in the scriptures as Shiva and Shakti. Rest all are the subsequent evolution and division of various aspects of the cosmic power. If one gets into finding out who among these 2 came 1st or who is superior, one will get entangled into a never ending and never conclusive spiral of the Puraans and the scriptures. Every one of us has the same duality inside us, and it is the supreme n silent aim n wish of the soul to end this separation from the Creator.

I have not read Shiv Mahapuran, so cant comment on what is written there. But you should know that Indian Mythology has various conflicting faces. There are so many stories about all the Gods and Godesses. But one thing is for certain and is mentioned in all the scriptures, that a female power known as Maa Shakti by her 'icha shakti' created this world. Let me give u an example from everyday life, this will clear your views.
1. God created u n me...right? You cant say that I am wrong in this...can u?
2. Your parents gave birth to u...right? Your mom n dad are responsible for u coming in this world...am i wrong?
3. But ur parents are also created by God...right?
Now consider that Maa created Lord Shiva...and Lord Shiva gave life to Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu...right?
Even if Shiv Mahapuran says that Shivji created Brahma ji n Vishnu ji...can we not say that Maa created all...just like we say that God created u n me...
Could I clear ur doubt by these reflections? |

Maa Shakti wanted to create the Universe. So to help her and partner her she created Lord Brahma from Her 'Satvik' powers and asked him to be her Male counterpart. He said no, as he is her son. That was because of his Satvik nature. So Maa got angry and warned him that he will be converted into a stone if he didnt agree to his wishes. Lord Brahma didnt agree. So Maa converted him into a 'pind'. And after millions of years, Her wish to create universe again arose. So, from her 'Rajasik' gunas she created Lord Vishnu. He like Brahma ji, didnt agree to her wishes, as he believed himself to be her son. Maa converted him into a 'pind' too. Again after millions of years from her 'Tamasik' gunas She created Lord Shiva, who then had big red eyes and was angry cause of his tamasik nature. Maa told him, that if he would be her partner she would give him all her powers and be her ardhangini. Lord Shiva said that if she would give all her powers to him, she would have nothing left. Maa replied that by giving something to anyone, what you have wont decrease...Her powers would only increase by sharing them with Him. So Lord Shiva accepted her offer and his angry countenance changed and his red eyes became normal and he started smiling. Maa became his other half and they both created this world. For this purpose Lord Shiva converted both those 'Pinds' into Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu and divided various duties among themselves.
So, yes Lord Shiva is ajanma in a sense but is created by Maa herself. Maa on the other hand is not created by anyone.
Also, Lord Shiva just gave life to the pinds already created by Maa from her satvik and rajsik gunas.
Hope I cleared your doubts.

Maa Durga is the incarnation of Maa Shakti who killed a raksha called Durgam...hence her name Durga. This universe is created by the 'ichha shakti' of Maa Shakti. She created Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to provide support for this universe. Maa Durga though 'ajanma' (meaning who has not taken janam and is ever present) has still taken janam just to be part of this world so that she can kill the wicked rakshasas. So, though people think that Lord Shiva came first but in actual fact Maa Shakti (Maa Durga is her roop only) came first. I hope my reply helped.

In this column, I want to share my blackmagic experience with you. In my relation, my aunt (Masi) real sister of my mother..she has created havoc in my life. The world of spirituality is totally smoothered in mysticism...no one knows how many paths are there to discover God (they are infinite )...but what we mere humans should know is that God is within us...finding God is just a synonym of self realisation. How you achieve it is not important, be it by tantra, aghora or satwik pujas. Human mind has great potential (usually unexplored by us), what we strongly believe becomes truth for us. If we believe God to exist in a stone and worship that stone every day with conviction, God will bend to your will and be present there for you. So, what you believe in,is what maters. Satwik's offer prayers with dhup, flowers, aarbatis etc and eat uncooked veetables and fruits, some survive on water alone and find God. Aghoris on the other hand eat flesh of dead bodies and sit on shavs to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva, but are still the embodiment of God. Let alone these humans, Maa Kali Herself has consumed blood of rakshasas. So, who is to say what is right or wrong? Which sect veg or non veg is supreme? I think all that is important is , belief. Believe in any method or sect. but at the end of the day the aim for all of us is one...To understand God and be one with Him. So why fight over the methods...each one to his own belief... |

I was walking on road in Andheri, a place which is near to Airport and the railway station. Suddenly I saw a young man in twenties walking ahead of me with so many ghosts making noise around. I did not see the ghosts but only heard the sound of ghosts telling about this man. They were telling his mind/thoughts and tempting others to repeat their words. It was a true experience of ghosts trouble. I followed him. Many people came and repeated the ghosts words. Then he said 'why ghosts?' but people did not respond but continued. The guy was fully captured with the help of ghosts. Instead of helping him, people were troubling him more.
That man knew that people are bad mouthing him by using the ghosts but could not do anything. I went near him and asked him about these ghosts. He told me the true story and I was shocked to hear it. Initially, some persons in Mumbai casted ghost spells on him during the time of his marriage in order to ban his marriage. Later, when nothing was gained and he did not die, they continued with the help of masses but he came to know about the ghosts spells too. It was a very a cruel story of what people of Mumbai do to innocents. Entire city was against him to hide this evil activity. He visited many places for deliverance but people were not willing to set him free. Even he feels that such ghost horror is rarest of any kind and should never ever happen again. Surprisingly, everything was happened with the consent of the public. It was very difficult to believe that the evil activities are being carried out in civilized cities like Mumbai in the name of culture.
As I started walking along with him, some people pushed me deliberately to be away from him. I did not understand in the beginning but the young man explained me what people doing. Some of them threatened openly as if I have committed a serious offence. I was shocked and asked one of them whether it was human. He replied 'This is Mumbai, anything happens anytime". I could not sleep that night thinking how bad these people of Mumbai have become and started packing up the very next day never to return to Mumbai again. |

Hi, Motilal, I visited many tantriks and they told me that it’s mistake of tantriks of Mumbai to do such things and let them break the spells themselves now. When I went to tantriks of Mumbai, they accepted their mistakes but gave the excuses indirectly suggesting their inability. In general, I knew that the problem is not so simple as it looks since many tantriks are involved and precaution is also taken not to break the spells. There are many ghosts who are given this job to do evil things against me. Least to say what ghosts can do. At present, they have control over my mind and enforce my thoughts as they wish. They can make me angry/sad anytime. They have complete control over sleep. They keep on telling my thoughts/actions to the people around me to cause me trouble and impossible to live a normal life. I would like to know if Guruji has the powers to break the spells because I have visited many tantriks/places/chanted many mantras well known for breaking the black magic spells. |

I am a victim of black magic for a decade and still searching a genuine tantrik/saint who is capable of breaking the ghost spells. I have visited many temples/dargas/tantriks, but no effect. There are many tantriks involved in these spells and I can hear sound of many ghosts constantly. I visited few kal kapal mahakal as provided in this forum but they could not do anything. Training the youngsters to follow the marathi-speaking-ghost flag flying , gives the idea of vast inhuman activities of Mumbaikars and still complaining about other’s training camps. Where Mumbaikar’s ghost hypnotized activities are heading ? You accepted the blood-thirsty path of scaring innocents just because they refused to follow your eccentric ways and odd proposals. Victimized individuals resorted to suicides due to severe victimization of Mumbaikars.
Failing to restore humanity even after knowing the mistakes only suggests that things have gone out of hand due to overlapping of evil minds of Mumbaikars, after crossing the line of limit for such ghost victimization/terrorism. Of course, it is sad that so many innocent lives lost during the 26/11 attack, but it’s always innocents who faces the consequences of the violent mob.
