With attention being paid elsewhere the effects of globalisation is taking its toll on our economy, technology, our socioculture and our politics. The ever growing demand or want for change in its vast numbers has helped fuel this beast which is now eating away at our world. We need to pay attention and not let our creation control what we decide. |

globalism has more diverse effect on poor countries than the rich countries of the world, take for example the structural adjustment program which have hampered with most economies of third world countries eg the water crisis in most countries is as a result of privatization of this services by the government . |

i just think that the author of this article is not far from certainty about the destructive side of globalisation.in deed ,the gap created by globalisation between peripheral capitalist states and the core capitalist states is no doubt enormous.but then, does the blame only fall on the bush's administration? what about the British? i am of the sure opinoin that although globalisation is neo-imperialism in disguise yet it has positive aspect which of course the chief proponents of capitalism will never allow to work out effectively. |
