AlexE Hi,

We've had our TM for the last couple of months and compared to our previous dogs (Springer and Clumber Spanials) Sprocket is a dream puppy. He is very relaxed, has been very easy to house train (we've had a couple of accidents where we did not hear him batter the cat flap to be let out) and is doing well with his basic training (sit, down, stand, off) with the exception of fetch (he will fetch things twice only). He is also doing very well at recall but as he is still a puppy (15 weeks) he still has the natural tendency to stay close, so we will see how he gets on when he is older.

We free feed him with kongs filled with Arden Grange Large Breed puppy food. He gets through about 500-600 grams a day plus a few pedigree smackos as training treats.

Wendi I have a Tibetan Mastiff named Gus,he is 4 and while reading this article some of these facts rang so true. It made me giggle. He is the sweetest dog but is most definatly an excape artist. My husband hole goal in life is to out smart this dog. He is a night barker and can not be trusted off the leash unless we are on a hike or in the woods. We had him professional trained when own daughter was born and it was the best this we could have done for him and us. We love him lots!! 5/23/2006
