Oopaydo Roinsin I have read the nutritive values for cinnamon therefore I suspect that if that one definitely has nutritive values then the others that are similar to it such as the nutmeg & vanilla,or ginger, caraway or corrindor seed should have value to as well as the many other spices should have a trace of nutritive value especially since they have medicinal values. 7/18/2011
Melissa I also notice that if you have a puffy face that eating turmeric some how helps to shrink blood vessels and relieve a puffy or bloated look. It really is amazing and it only takes a teaspoon a day to do the trick. 2/11/2009
Melissa I have a small bump on my anus that continually swells up...however when I take a teaspoon of turmeric a day...the thing shrinks down to practically "undetectable" size. Turmeric is amazing as far as I'm concerned. I believe it does shrink tumors or whatever. 2/11/2009

Anushree Indian spices not only add to the taste of food but also have a good medicinal value..with the help of these spices we can cure many diseases.Many diseases can be prevented with the help of these spices.

Jack Barron Looking up more than I know about Turmeric for a friend. I have been using it myself for 10 in place of presciption meds for pain caused by ongoing nerve damage. It works as well as Darvaset and muscle relaxers with out the side affects. Shalom, 8/25/2005
