Kenyan Homecoming for Rare Bongo Antelope

14 female and four male bongo antelopes born in the US were transported to their ancestral home on Mount Kenya on January 30 to begin a new generation of this endangered species.

Lea I think bongos are very beautiful, interesting animals. I hope they will do well. So many people don't even know what a bongo is. It is sad that we have so many creatures on earth that are disappearing. 4/4/2006
