Peanut Calling

When the phone rings at Craig and Sue Harms' house, you aren't really sure whether or not you should answer it. It may just be Peanut, their adopted Congo African Grey parrot, doing his telephone ring imitation.

Craig Harms It was great to see this article, for I am Peanut's "adopted father"! It has been nearly three years since we rescued him-- the tremenous joy he has given us over that time cannot be measured. I strongly urge resuce and adoption to anybody who is looking for a pet. These beautiful creatures--through no fault of their own--have suffered neglect, mistreatment, and worse! You can give them the second chance at a happy, safe life that they deserve. You will both be better for it. (Btw--Peanut now SINGS "Satisfaction", and Johnny Cash songs, among other tunes. He is an awesome and funny friend). 8/25/2006
