Gov. James McGreevey (D-NJ) recently signed into law new legislation that would increase penalties for those who abuse and injure animals in New Jersey.

Robyn I think it is a great idea to increase penalties for those who abuse animals in N.J. Most people don't even realize that the abuse of animals is a crime and unless the state takes a big step to make public the penalties of animal abuse it will continue to happen. 4/13/2004
