I can't believe 22,045 people believe Gayheart should be given leniency due to her celebrity status. I'm sure they would feel different if it was their child whom she had killed. |

She deserved a punishment that caused her some inconvenience. Although she must be the center of her own universe, feeling that should go around stopped cars to get wherever the hell she was going, she killed someone's child. I hope it caused her anguish on a daily basis, as it does to Jorge's family. To celebs I say take their precious money, give them some bad press and a lot of community service. That the only thing that gets them. Just makes me sick! |

I can't believe people would say that their should have been easy on her because she is a celebrity, she goes on with her life and a young boy who never even began to live is dead, I hope it torments her for the rest of her life! She goes on and married Mr. McSteamy and all is well but her recklous behaviour and stupidity cost the life of this little boy, the little boy of course was hispanic and not rich so I guess it's okay and it was so nice of her to pay his hospital bills and funeral expenses a modern day mother Theresa! |

Are theses people even aware what "leniency" means? Either way they are stupid. That kid's life was worth a hell of a lot more than her so-called "celebrity" status. If I were her, I would express so much remorse and guilt...I would even set up a scholarship in his name to honor him and his family. And for those who think say she should be given leniency for being "hot", whatever. Her eyes are almost back by her ears they are so far apart and small...ugh. |

i can't believe that anyone would say that rebecca gayheart deserves to be treated differently just because she is famous. i think she deserves to be punished just as much as anyone else. its so terrible that she is serving minimal time when she killed a little kid because she was being stupid and negligent. she needs to be put in jail and pay for what she did. |
