Fiona Dr. Michael Fox is a wonderful Vet and he is right because the life of an Ant is every bit as important as that of a human being. This is a Vet who is not just in it for the money but who really loves animals. 5/1/2009
Humanist Michael W Fox is a radical kookazoid. He thinks an ANT's life is as important as a child's life. The ant certainly doesn't think so,since the ant can't think at ALL. I guess Fox doesn't value a species that can think over one that cannot. Fox is a major nut-job. I wonder if it bothers him that lions kill zebras, and bears kill fish, and all the other violence that goes on in nature. 3/31/2008
Judy K. Shriver I've read Dr. Fox's column in our local newspaper, but was searching for him on the web, since one of my five cats has cancer. I did not realize all the things he's involved with and after reading this, think he's much more wonderful than I even did before. I applaud him and his wife for their lifetime of striving for the betterment of animals, the environment and society. I wish more of us were like them! 2/27/2008
Gloria Pieretti I am an avid reader of Dr. Fox's column in the Asbury Park Press and agree that a home cooked meal is the best way to feed our beloved pets. I have a 5-yr. old female shih tzu and with all the news about the inferior dog foods on the market, I hesitate to continue the pet food presently used. Would most appreciate a recipe that I would make myself, however, I do not know the best and most nutrtious diet to make. Please advise also where I can buy Dr. Fox's book "Eating with conscience". 4/9/2007

RetroVetWannaBe this probably sounds kinda stupid but im a student in highschool trying to become a vet, and my coucilers arnt really helping on telling me what the requirements are for all the certain classes that should be taken for that route in jobs. so if anyone could tell me what it is i need to take or look into it would be greatly appreciated. THANKS! 9/20/2004
Sandra Butz Id like to see Dr. Fox's column recently dealing with the new vaccination protocol be read by every veterinarian in small animal practice. Many companion animals are still vaccinated annually. I became suspicious of this practice some time ago after losing several young healthy Labrdor Retrievers to kidney failure from autoimmune problems. 8/3/2004
Sue Domack Hi, This is an "Ear Infection Remedy" for dogs suffering from Chronic Ear Infections. It is made by combining the following ingredients:
-isophrophyl alcohol
-Boric Acid powder
-Gentian Violet (antibacterial readily available at your pharmacy --not an expensive product)
e-mail me for amounts and directions . It's a bit involved, but well worth the effort. I love sharing this information with people whose dogs are suffering from this problem. After many years of battling Chronic Ear Infections in my Cocker Spaniel, it's the only remedy that has absolutely worked for us.
