I am glad I live in Australia and in the middle of the desert. God if I ever saw a snake like that I would die on the spot.
Our snakes don't get that big around here yet I am still afraid from them...those people who handle snakes the size of these are Crazy and sure have a lot of guts |

Seems to unbelievable. However, some python keepers are known to 'fois gras' unusually large snakes. This essentially involves eviscerating the bodies of feed rats, filling them with a supplement mixture of mushrooms and fat and sewing it closed again before
feeding. This practice is somewhat common but clandestine.
The goal being the raising of a 'record' specimen for the purpose
of profitable sale. Still, I'm not inclined to believe a 14 m retic. python
to be realistic. Not even a 14 m 'fois gras snake'. |
