Actually this is what it is for me. love is accepting everything thats wrong w/ a person w/out even knowing that it annoys u. Its thinking about them when they aren't around and when they are. It's being so caught up in an emotion that the rest of your brain just shuts down and you can only think of them and nothing else. FOr me its playing stupid love songs over and over in my head until all the words disapear except the line that says i love u which keeps repeating. Its crying when theyre in pain or u dont see them and being on their side even when nobody else is. its just wanting that person so bad even if theirs no chance of them feeling the same way and you cant stop it it just is. If love really could be defined to exactly what it is it would take a lifetime to try and say it and even then it wouldn't be enough. Love is..... |

Some people use "LOVE" discribing how much they like "THINGS". No, love is the ultimate bind between two people. Love to me is a heart and soul attachment with another person. Wedding vows say two coming together to become one. That's the binding I refer to. If my partener hurts I hurt and vice-versa. If my partener is happy . . . When I want something/someone in a way that will hurt my partener I walk away. God loves us unconditionally, but HE expects us to come to HIM with honesty, confessing our sins, asking HIM to come into our hearts. I believes true love between people carries then same expectations. But . . . who am I? |

Since love is relational, it needs to be at least 2 people involved. Love is not just what you get out of a relationship- it is what you give as well. If needs are not being met, it is usually because you have different styles of communication. You speak different languages. What means love to you, may not be what means love to the other person. Falling in Love
Falling in love is a temporary experience and is triggered by having needs that are not able to meet by yourself.
The moment that you meet someone that is able to meet these needs the potential to fall in love is there.
Then the process of having your needs met begins and once they have been satisfied the feeling of being in love and affection disappears.
To Love
To love is to be aware of and to appeciate all that is taken or given in order to fulfil your needs.
Loving Yourself
Loving yourself is the awarness of advancement in understanding life.
Loving all that exists
Is the awareness that you are part of all that exists
Loving God
Is being aware of your limitations and inability to comprehend the enormity of all that exists and this awarness transforms into intense appreciation and submission.
Falling in Love
In order for people to maintain their needs, even at the most basic level (food, warmth, and housing) they will have a need for, i.e. fall in love with, someone who can provide them. People who long for security, especially women fall in love with someone who will provide for them and secure their basic needs. However, once their needs are satisfied the feeling of being in love fades quickly and the satisfied individual is left wondering why they were attracted to the provider in the first place.
The main trigger for a man to fall in love is his sexual needs. Once a woman has fulfilled a man's sexual needs/fantasies, she loses her appeal to him. The man will them look for either a new partner or new sexual adventures.
It would seem that if we wish to have that "in love" feeling constantly, we can only have it if partners are willing to live apart and to never feel content. This seems to be a crazy idea.
To love
To feel love is to reflect on what we are and how it came to be.
We feel love for a person the moment that we are aware of what they have to offer us that we can not provide for ourselves.
In other words, the person that satisfies our needs is the person that we are able to love.
The more of my needs are satisfied, the more love i feel. This feeling of love comes from appreciation through awarness
