I think that not allowing gays to marry violates their rights. Apon citizenship for the Unites States we recieve certain undeniable rights. With the legislature trying to put a ban on gay marriage it will make it so your rights are violated. |

i dont agree that gay marriages should be legal. what has this world come to that we are seeing this as normal? Men were made to be for women,being a homosexual doesn't only go against nature but also against our Creator. im not judging because i know we're not perfect, nobody is. we have all done things that are not right. im not trying to "preach" here either, but think about it, we want to be like Jesus so if he were living today, do you think he'd be a homosexual and accept gay marriages? |

I think that maybe so of you people need to take a long look in the mirror and relieze this is not the past but the present and you shouldn't judge someone just because they are not the same as you. In the past indians were judged and were not welcome. One day a great indian fighting for his rights was brought to sare his views so that the people could laugh in his face but he cut his hand and said we all bleed the same. Now with that, gay or straight we all bleed the same. I am sixteen and my grandpa is gay. I love him very much and he has cance and may die. I'm not gay, but i do beleive in equal rights most of all i beleive we all bleed the same and should welcome change and become a close socity that we are made out to be. |

It is my opinoin that gays should be allowed to marry eachother. According to amendment 14 in the US Constitution gays should be allowed to marry it does not directly say it but interpretated correctly it gives the right to liberty which is to live as you please as long as you do not violated anyone elses rights. Also, you can't base your opionion on church and God because it is totally seperated from government. |

I believe that gay marriages should be legal. Every has a right to be happy and if that happiness depends on their legal marriage to the one they love, then whop are we to stand in their way. Why are people of equal benifits for gays, but not qual marriage rights? |

Im not gay my self, but I do feel that someone who is gay should have the right to marry the person they love even if it is the same sex just like straight people do. In my opinion its unconstitutional to take way someones right to marry some one they love. Not only that but even the Health insurance issue is sad. I hate how people preach about "the bible says it wrong" well have you noticed that people only preach to what they WANT to preach to. Hey did you know that the bible says its a sin to cut your hair, and to have sex with out having the intention to have a child, oh yea and cant forget that its a sin to touch a woman while shes in her cycle. So when you want to preach about the bible you need remember that maybe you are doing a couple things wrong yourselfs. Now im not gay but I am doing research on this issue for Politics and it just pissing me off. |
