Missing Dog Finds His Way Home... After 6 Years

The Flores family of Wichita, Kansas received an early Christmas present this year when their beloved dog Bear, who had disappeared in November of 1997, made it back home in time for Thanksgiving in 2003.

Andrew I almost cannot believe a dog can travel 1000 miles just for someone they love!! I think it is because they are God spelled backwards.GOD,DOG. 9/1/2006
Andrew I think it was tragic that the dog Bear never returned after going out for exercise.Bear seemed like a very brave dog.I wish Bear would shortely, go on walks in the day to exercise.We may not know if someone took Bear,or if he just went out to far. 9/1/2006

Danielle I think this is a wonderful and amazing story, and I'm so happy for the Flores family. Our bullmastiff has been missing for 2 days now, and I keep hoping he'll find his way back home like Bear.

Having a beloved pet go missing leaves you heartbroken... more than you could really imagine.
