The bitter irony of the NFL's past

The NFL's long, arduous march to full integration has not been without consequence. We know that because of the white players who've disappeared, and because of the dominant performances of trailblazing African-American stars, which can never be replicated.

Outraged That was a horrible article. Very biased and racist. There are skilled players of all races that could be playing at various positions. The problem is that the system decides what positions that certain players can play. Do you find it appropriate to put down an entire race to make them feel inferior? If you were putting down the black race, you would have lost your job. I guess you are living the dream - in a double standard world! 10/31/2007
Tom You're a complete clown...and you know nothing about football.

Is Brian Urlacher one of these "slow, white players" that you speak of? Tom Brady? Pat Tillman (RIP)? John Lynch?

You're a self hating, white turd.
