DNA Backs Lindbergh Family Claim
Tests confirm US aviator had three children in Germany. DNA tests last night confirmed that the dashing aviator and rugged all-American hero Charles Lindbergh had a secret second family in Germany, fathering three - and possibly more - children outside his marriage.

The public should be satisfied with the known information about Charles Lindbergh and leave his families to lead private lives. |

This does not come as a complete surprise knowing that Lindbergh may have agreed with some of the genetic family planning of Germany (and many Americans at that time.) What may surprise many is that Lindbergh's kidnapped baby lived, was adopted by a family who evdidently knew the actual kidnappers, and the several books on this fact may still be available (the resemblance to his father when he was in the service is very pronounced), and his book on this fact tells much, with another explaining the problem concerning Anne Morrow's older sister who some thought he would marry rather than Anne. (Name of books on request).

The story of Charles Lindbergh's German family is fascinating. I never did think that a woman like Anne Morrow was enough for C.A.; probably no one woman would be. There was an obvious chink in the marriage for a long time (this I gathered from reading everything I have ever been able to get my hands on regarding the family). I hope we, in the U.S. will be able to see and/or read more about the wonderful Lindbergh family in Germany--and maybe eventually also the Swiss Lindbergh sons. Bravo! to this new set of Lindberghs for being so honorable in waiting to reveal who their father was (is). |

It is my belief that Charles did father the three German chlldren. The children have not asked for any compensation. It is good that the children of Lindbergh finally have the opportunity to meet their half -siblings. |
