Fund For Animals Condemns Catskill Park Hunting Plans
The Fund for Animals, a national animal protection organization with more than 20,000 members and supporters in New York State, is condemning the Bureau of Wildlife (BOW) for its plan to promote hunting and trapping in Catskill Park.

this woman has no enivormental intelligence whats so ever! she doesnt know about the benfits that hunting plays on the enviroment and how important it really is in securing a healthly enviroment! if hunting wasnt present in the area the animals that inhabit it would simply reproduce at to high a rate for the enviroment to with stand! causing the numbers to plummett threefold of what hunting pressure would! if not for hunting the animals would over run the area causeing more car deer incidents and the damage to home owners property because the area doesnt have enough natural food to hold a larger population would be outragous! deer and other animals would be eating ppls gardens and destroying farmers crops ! the facts are that hunting is the only real way to keep wildlife
populations in check and at a healthy level and that hunting in these areas is three times more important then this womens opinion on the subject!also many of the taxes hunters pay on goods for the sport are put in to the eniviroment! to speak frankly this women has no clue what she is talking about ! and that she obvisouly thinks this is a perfect world where animal populations can keep themselves in check without predation ! well its not and the fact that expanding cities and suburbs have almost completely whiped out any of the areas natural predators there fore will not stay at a healthy level! im sorry if this women truly believes that hunting is a blood sport but hunters are as humane as can be in these situations! the sport should not be judged on the killing of an animal but on the major role it is playing to protect the habitat ! more hunters then any other group of americans are enviromentalist this woman is just speaking about a subject in which she has no knowledge of! it sadens me that this would even be put on the internet because of the complete idiocy involeving her statements! this woman should not publicly voice her opinion about something that through history has been going on for millions of years it is not the hunters fault who is only doing what he enjoys and just so happens to be protected by law! it is not our faults that this woman is over compassionate about an animal being killed to protect its self from its self ! my final statement on the matter would be " lady get a life " |
