our church will be holding a fun raiser festival for one of our members, that has recently lost her son due to a heart enlargement. She has funeral costs that she can not afford, because she is very low income. our church would like to help her out, but everyone in our church is also low income.We are a very small independent congragation, and are in need of help to make this fundraiser festival happen. We would need carnival toys, prizes, food and decorations to makr this happen. If there is anyway we may be able to get any assistance. We would highly appreciate all donations and help. Don't do it. Just say no to NAEIR. If you're a small non-profit organization, paying hundreds of dollars for a membership fee to Naeir, plus a handling fee for each order or special product, plus shipping or costs to pick-up for unknown Naier goods is not a good use of your funding. You'll be sorry. We sure are. Been there and done that, and we won't do it again. Use your money wisely. Purchase what you know you need and don't spend all the money upfront without knowing what you'll get, which is unwanted goods from organizations using Naeir for a tax write off. Naeir runs out of advertised products and it's normally the stuff you need or want. Naeir distributes cast offs. We're already picked up a lot of junk and they will not provide a refund because their guarantee is based on their estimation of worth. Naeir is not free at all. Naeir costs a lot of money without delivering the value. |

Please carefully consider the facts before purchasing a membership to NAEIR. While all of their materials state that the products are free, that's not totally true. First, there's the annual fee. Then, there's a handling fee for each order. If you purchase a flyer item, there's a separate handling fee. You have to have the order shipped or make arrangements for pick-up, which means more money and time. You can't see the products. There is no guarantee you'll get what you order. You probably won't get the stuff you really want and need. That's not only my observation, but feedback I've heard from others. These are donated goods you're getting. Don't expect high quality. Don't expect quality at all. Expect unwanted stuff, because that's what you're getting. Don't expect instructions, all of the pieces of any one product, or recently producted goods. It's an Odds Lots assortment that you cannot pick out yourself. The orders are picked for you, so you have no idea what you're getting until the order is in your hands. If you're a small non-profit, please consider bypassing them. We will, after we process remaining orders for our membership because someone recommended them to us. Now we know from experience that it was a poor recommendation. It's not not not worth it, unless you have money to burn and/or waste on questionable goods. |

We are rapidly gearing up for the 2007 School Support Drive. Our church will sponsor school supplies for area children who are in the most need. We are committed to serving the community to make a difference for deserving families. Our goal is 200 students with:
*1 Book bag packed with supplies for each child
I am seeking organizations to help us with this endeavor. We know that if we work toward a common goal, we can do more for the children of our community. Please lend your support as we partner with local community groups to help those in need. Areas of need include:
*Kindergarden -5th Grade
6th, 7th and 8th Grade
Our distribution date is August 4, 2007 at 10:00am at St. Paul UMC Fellowship Hall. We are asking that each sponsor designate boy/girl and also tell us what grade level. This is an excellent opportunity for you and your staff to participate. Some organizations have implemented a contest between departments to see who would bring in the most supplies. If you would prefer, we will be happy to pack and label your supplies that you provide. Sponsors may bring the supplies by the church or arrange for our staff to pick them up.

I think this is really neat if there are ones that really help others out there. I am in OH, so I am not sure if this is the place for me, but I figured it was worth a shot. I am a Sunday school provider, and we are looking for any toys that are gentaly used.
