Lauren I chose YAM derivative hormone (ESTRACE) and now a PBM contracted to my PPO health carrier calls the doctor and has him write orders to change my already exisitng prescription to generic. Will they substitute Premarin.
I won't TAKE the drug if this is the case. I am willing to pay extra copay to get the BRAND advertised by my insurance carrier.

katee2 In 2001 I did a thesis on Premarin....and was palnning an update oh the paper..now there are more figures relating to the health risks.. Do the European countries feel the need to swallow and smear horse tinkle on themselves or do they see menopause as a fact of life and not a disease? 7/11/2006

Judy Helie I am so happy to hear that so many horses havebeen saved from this inhumane treatment. I took Premarin until I found out hoe it was made & decided I could stand my hot flashes if I could save just one horse. Hopefully , other women will realize what they are subjecting these horses to just to make themselves a little more comfortable. 7/8/2005
