India Government Fails To Prevent Massive Animal Sacrifice

Despite appeals for mercy by the state government and animal welfare agencies, more than 2,000 goats and buffalos and thousands of lambs and hens were ‘sacrificed’ at the temples of Durga and other goddesses in Orissa, India, during the week-long Dasara festival in early October.

gouhar azeez Animal sacrifice is crime towards the co-specious on the earth, these animals are used for food after killing so they can cause serious health hazards without meat inspection, it is illegal slaughter causing environmental pollution, and children who witness this barbaric act are likely to turn hardcore murders. So it is very important to stop this barbaric act with immediate implementation. 7/31/2006
