Amelia and Andy Now we know why Tom Cruise divorced Nicole Kidman; the mixed race "adopted" (or was he adopted) boy; then a month after he filed divorce on her she terminates a pregnancy (what race was that baby?); then an affair with black rocker Q-Tip, and now openly with Kravitz. Pretty obvious isn't it. Her big secret is she's been doing black guys all along while she was with Cruise. She's doing this now publicly to get back at Tom Cruise, to get publicity, and its working just fine. Very cold. 12/13/2003

Guru69 Let's take the rose-colored glasses off and leave the bigoted remarks out. These 2 talented people are having a hard time keeping the spotlight. Lenny's music isn't exactly filling the airwaves and ever since "Eyes Wide Shut", Nicole has been losing her fans base. It's a hard thing to accept for both of them.

Think about it...... Two performers that have had fairly stellar careers are facing the down-hill slide. What do you do? You do something controversial to bring yourself back into the spotlight. There is a need to feel that glow and worship...or just plain, old gossip. Truth be known....it is a publicity ploy that will keep them in the tabloids and Buzzle for months to come.

See this thing for what it really is folks.

My personal opinion.....and you know how those go...(_._) and they all :P stink. In the search for the spotlight, I see 2 people having wild fun together, a little romance, and good conversation. The aftermath of their fling may produce something positive and it may not....who knows.

Another word on interracial relationships.....what white guy would not take Beyonce Knowles up on a good time. I know I would...with the quickness. This whole insecurity thing with the manhood should be put to rest. I have satisfied plenty of women of all races without even having to use my manhood. So give it rest already. Thoughtful Despite what racists and other bigoted people may think, it is a good match. Both are in the "business" thus, will understand one another. Both also have enough money to sustain a fine relationship. As for Human Stain not being well-received, it has nothing to do with her relationship and everything to do with poor casting of a film adapted from an excellent book. The children can only suffer because of intolerant, bigoted reactions similar to those I've read here. Too bad that few people can tolerate folks who care about and respect one another. With all we are going through in this Country, I for one, believe it is wonderful that they have found love. 11/18/2003
HLLYWD Her back office numbers and indices are almost all down. 9 projects with 1 in release, 3 in long term dev. and 5 wrapped in post prod. Those 5 are the nervous ones. John S. She's always been a rebellious, insecure, probably self loathing, in your face type according to her bio. She dropped out of high school because of social disorder and was soundly disliked at school. Evidently because of her "bad" looks "too tall at 13" interestingly enough. She is very self-impressed no doubt at this point and thinks she can flaunt anything before the public and my take is that she is being very cynical "I'm making a statement" and "in your face" with the public about this. She has almost certainly tanked her career and public image with Kravitz. Her film Human Stain had a horrible opening box office barely a million and with two academy award stars in it. She's probably lonely too and something makes me guess very vulnerable. It must be hard for her to find someone at her level. Men at her level are always taken. Kravitz needs to buy normal conserative suit. I suggest double breasted Italian. It might help mend his 42nd street image. Just a few thoughts. I like her and I feel sorry for her and her kids. Emily Ebony Magazine is bragging about how Lenny Kravitz has had Nicole Kidman. It was a bold article and thinly racist. It also described him as a player who has been pursuing and bedding white celebrity women for years and he has a long impressive list of conquests with Nicole being the most famous among Madonna, Natalie Imbruglia, Gina Gershon and many others. Men don't change. He'll use her and then move on leaving her humiliated and suffering the loss of many of her fans if not her whole career. Her new movie has already flopped very very badly at the box office. There's little doubt why. Her studio appears to have cut her out of the advertising for her next film too. She must be very lonely to do this. Perhaps rebellious too. Her kids will be very destabilized too. I feel very sorry for her and for the kids for what will happen from this. 11/11/2003

Ohio Guy This misbegotten relationship promotes racism and intended or not it emasculates white men. Perhaps Ms. Kidman is trying to get back in this way against Mr. Cruise. It has rebound disaster written all over it. We've all heard the ugly racist stereotype slang from black racists. "Had black she'll never go back. She's ours now!" The other writer is right Connor Kidman will get the worst of it and hear at the schoolyard,"Your mother f__s n___g___s." and it will cut him to his soul and emasculate him completely when he needs his mom most. I feel so sorry for them all. The world isn't going to accept this. I feel so sorry for Ms. Kidman and her children. Circuses and cookies can never repair this. I also feel sorry for Kravitz, the aging mediocre rocker, because in the end he will be rejected and hurt terribly as well; just as we all are by this new public couple. My heart goes out. Amazement She is crashing her children and career on the rocks of Black and White American racism. The public will never accept this pairing. To mock white men, a black racist web site has already awarded Kravitz something it calls the "Himalaya Award" which evidently goes to the black man who scores the highest "white peak". There is no higher white peak than the stunningly beautiful, talented, and most celebrated woman in the world: Nicole Kidman. I find it all astonishing and emasculating. 10/20/2003
