Anna Samuels the john hopkins study on milk vs soy re:pain arthritis is probably ? flawed. I think it is the pasturerizing and maybe the homogenizing that has destroyed our milk products therefore raising cholesterol and also in others causing arthritis. Arthritis is becoming rampant in younger and younger sectors of our society. Maybe the soy reduces pain, maybe it must be used in moderation. But likely non raw milk is the culprit. And maybe just too much dairy anyway, raw or not. 10/9/2008
Susan It should also be mentioned that gluten intolerance is frequently undiagnosed in people with autoimmune disease (like rheumatoid arthritis).

People with RA should be tested for gluten intolerance, or at the least, try a gluten free diet to see if symptoms improve.

Linda Great to be able to access this information. My arthritis is very bad at present, cannot bend knee etc and have lots of pain. So I am going to try the diet advice given above. So far any meds perscribed by my doctor have not helped much.

jim bell Most herbal teas, like sobe or arizona, or snapple.. do have tea as one of their ingridiants... also I usually add regular tea to most concoctions when the level goes down. Doing half and half as in one reg milk witrh one powdered produces 2 times the amount... like wise one bot of gingsing mixed with equal amounts produces twice the amount... and at a buck or two perbottle... this a money savings... and counters the filler of filtered water in the original recipie, like having scrambled eggs mixed with milk....... Just a sugestion love, jimbo 10/4/2003
