Rescue Dog ‘Alfie’ Wins Top British Award

A two-and-a-half-year-old, rescued tan whippet-saluki-cross named Alfie has captivated hearts with his rags-to-riches story after the formerly neglected and abused dog won the British RSPCA’s Dog-Of-The-Year award for 2003.

Judy Leach Sir, I am a volunteer at the spca in Feilding New Zealand and deal mostly with the dog section. We are having school children to the Centre and would like to make a list of does and donts regarding the meeting caring etc of the dogs. Have you any suggestions for me.
