Germany Complains to Italy About Hitler Wines
Germany's justice minister, Brigitte Zypries, has protested to her Italian counterpart, Roberto Castelli about the sale of Italian wines labelled with pictures of Hitler, threatening another Italian-German rift.

Regarding your recent item reporting on Italian "Hitler Wine", please note that we have tried this vintage and are able to report the following:
This wine is extremely bold, with a very bitter after-taste. Doesn't sit well with Russian food, completely dominates French cuisine, but can be successfully paired with tortellini and sushi. Palette can best be cleansed with U.K. malt whiskeys and, epsecially, American domestic brews.
Hitler wine has a full bodied taste with hints of blackcurrant, leather, gunpowder, steel, brick, and burnt wood. "This is a bottle with a message in it, and the message is 'beware'. This is not a wine for drinking, this is a wine for laying down and avoiding."
Ultimately its taste will die in the cellar. Even so, this vintage may still be found in rural South American cafes.

It's about the wine and should not be about anything else. They probably wished that they came up with this idea. The Jewish people like a lot of other people should live their own lives and stay out of others. Just remember Christ was a Jew and he loved all people. I don't agree what had happen to those poor jewish people, but life goes on. |

Stalin killed millions more andyet is still revered in Russia and elsewhere. But Stalin was not a showman, secret and remote he hid his action and intentions . Hitler bragged of what he would do and i think that this display of overt dominance is what we find so extremely objectionable. The attack on America was another act of dominance. Our excursions in Afghan. and Irag are very mild efforts of a nation and civilization still barely aware of the real danger in the east. Who gives a hoot about wine labels when there are all those protable nukes the Russians "lost" out there somewhere. Energy runs civilizations. who controls energy runs civilizations. To upgrade to a cleaner, more plentiful source will be a difficult struggle. There is no certainty that this current electromagnetic culture will prevail. |

Freedom of speach..I don't find anything wrong with the Hitler Wine...it's a part of history that should never be forgotten. As a military collector I'm excited about this and will be buying some bottles. |
