Is a cat called Zeus worth £100,000?
Esmond Gay, who bred Zeus, says he is worth £100,000. But the main governing body for cat breeders says you can get a Bengal for £350 - and that Zeus isn't really a Bengal anyway. What's going on?

ESMOND NOW HAS RETIRED FROM THE BREEDING OF CATS. BUT I THINK GOODLUCK TO HIM IF PEOPLE WANT TO PAY THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR A CAT THEN THATS UP TO THEM YES THERE WERE CHEAPER CATS OUT THERE AT THE TIME BUT THEY WERE NOTHING LIKE ESMONDS |

I've been breeding Bengals for 10 yrs & NEVER have I or any other breeder sold our cats...the SAME cats as Gay breeds, for this rediculous amount of money as he SAYS he has sold his cats for! I too, have F1's, 2's, on up. This is SUCH a scam! Ethical breeders work towards improving the breed, NOT to try and see how much money we can sell them for. This makes me want to puke! Anybody can buy an ALC for around 3500.00 US dollars. Get over yourself Esmond Gay! |

What's going on is that Esmond is trying to make money over the backs of these poor animals. He also breeds sphynx. I have seen this babies. Locked away in boxes without light, living in their own without water and food, eyes shut with infections. He then sells them too young for a much higher price then they are worth as breeders even though the poor babies are barely alive. This man must be stopped and locked away. |
