Buffie I think people tend to dismiss Nicole because she doesn't come across as warm or as sultry as Penelope. (I read somewhere that Nicole is basically very shy and somewhat insecure.) Penelope is very animated yet projects a sort of vulnerable, ultra-feminine sensuality. But for sheer beauty, you can't beat Nicole with her delicate porcelain complexion, gorgeous red hair, and tall, elegant figure. I agree she really wasn't a good match for Tom -- too tall for him and they looked "awkward" together. She never was able to really "shine" in his shadow -- I think she's starting to "come out" now that she's solo and doing so well on her own. She really DOES have a charmingly sweet smile, and her eyes "twinkle" more than they ever did before! 3/11/2003
