Randi Levin I have heard too much controversy over the new World Trade Center. Although I live in Colorado it is a large issue to commerate those who lost loved ones in the attack upon this country. I have thought since the beginning that if another building or group of is ever built, it should not cause controversy, (there is enough of that in the world already) it should be some peace to the survivors and to those who lost their loved ones. Personally I am not an architect, a builder nor even a construction worker. But I am an American and proud to be such. My thoughts are as they have always been in relation to the WTC, if ones are going to even try to rebuild that Center, why not build peace as well, and shape the building(s) in the shape of a very large PEACE SIGN for the world to see. I have spoken to many friends and associates in the contracting business and know that such is possible. Tall as those in NY want it, with branches and lights illustrating peace. It is possible and would be excepted by all, without the controversy of too much cement and lack of sky line as is now becoming too much about money and not enough upon memories and and PEACE!

Thank you for your time!

Be well!

Miss D Gumm I think Mr Libeskind's design had everything required by both the public and commercial sectors. It's about time public safety came before profit which is obviously not a concern of Mr Silverstein. 9/13/2003
