Jennifer I have had an electric blue crayfish for about 4 months. She was pregnant and shed all her babies in January (we lost them all). And now, she is carrying eggs again. There is no male counterpart for her to have mated with. If anyone can find anything else on this topic, please email at JenniferM1974@sbcglobal.net. 3/26/2005

Phil Clifford I have witnested the ability of a crayfish to have baby crayfish alone. I captured a Florda Crayfisf from the wild and placed it in a60 gallon fish tank. Ditch fish were also added at the same time. Apporoxametly 9 months later, babies. 8/8/2004
daniel About six months ago I purchased two crayfish. One crayfish died about two weeks after I had purchased it. Now my surviving crawfish is oddly producing eggs. The only contact it had with another crayfish took place over five months ago. How is it possible for it to produce eggs? Is my crawfish repoducing asexually? 10/16/2003
