Heather Harry Potter is an excellent series. I myself have enjoyed it very much. I also find it as an insult to be called a person with a 'stunted imagination'. 9/28/2005
Abby That is absolutely hidious! The Harry Potter Series is wonderful! I think this Byatt women is a foul jealous person with nothing else to do but critize. Let's look at the big picture. Who's sold more books? Who's got people lining ouside bookstores at midnight just to get their hands on a copy? Who has radioshows, movies, tons of websites? Who has people dressing up like characters of the book every Halloween? JK Rowling's your answer. 9/28/2005
Matt Stoddard I think this Byatt girl is just jelous that she didn't write the books. These books get children reading and because of the Harry Potter series, many children enjoy reading now. Like it said at the end of this article, your just being a party pooper, and if they are often right, they just dont want to have fun, and Byatt's imagination is the one that is limited. 10/19/2004
