How dare the Dixie Chicks and others exercise their First Amendment rights!
All this talk about how sad it made Americans feel to see the WTC towers fall. I thought it was fashionable for country music fans to ridicule and malign 'New York City' ala Pace Picante Sauce prior to 9/11.
Just because your dad was a real war hero in a real war doesn't make you knowledgeable about what war really is. TK's dad was a Democrat, TK is a Republican, because he says he can afford to be.
If you support the war and the killing, why don't you go and fight in the war? If TK is too old to go, then why not go to Iraq and give some free concerts to the troops? Everyone who supports this war should get involved.
How soon we forget. Are we ever going to learn and remember the lessons of the past?
Do the war supporters feel good when they see the collateral damage inflicted upon innocent Iraqis and Afghanis? This crusade against the Nation of Islam is going to create a lot of enemies for the US.
Americans are dying daily for a fraudulent war in Iraq. Soldiers are doing without water they desperately need to live. Soldiers are dying for no good reason in Iraq.
Why isn't there a song written about the extreme failure of the Bushies to stop 9/11? How can 4 jet airliners fly for almost two hours without being intercepted by NORAD?

Interesting debate here. I think it's sad that Bush is asking for $87 billion to rebuild Iraq, because the only thing Bush has done well is raise money for his reelection campaign. Maybe he should ask his donors for money to rebuild Iraq, considering that their corporations will be the only Americans who benefit from it. |

craig is right. maybe if you read something besides this site, you would know that it's not just an allegation. investigations by the miami herald and new york times revealed that if the supreme court had allowed the recount that was mandated by florida law to take place, gore would have won florida by at least 2500 votes. that doesn't even take into account the voters who were taken off the voter roles because their names "sounded" like those of felons. |
