| Holly | i think that the cons guy let his personall bias get in the way when writing this, I have a cat and hes declawed and he can walk and balance just fine. His attitude hasn't change one bit since after the surgery. | 10/5/2010 |
| db | What a load of horse manure! All my cats have lived long (20+ years)lives and never had any issues. No cat box phobia, no balance or walking problems. We left the back claws on incase they ever got out of the house without us being arround and they can still climb trees quite easily. They are friendly and love to be around people. All of our cats have been rescue cats that would have been put to sleep if we had not taken them in I think they perfer their long and happy healthy lives. | 6/7/2010 |
| Sara | Declawing is bad. It is like pulling out your nails. and neutering is like vasectomy in humans. if your kids have a habit of biting, thta does not mean you go and pull out their nail. Maybe you think declawing is good, but I have friend whose cat suffered for weeks after the procedure. DECLAWING IS BAD |

| Charity | Wow. You really discussed the Pros and the Cons, didn't you? NOT! I especially like this part "Declawing cats is an illegal procedure in many countries, yet it is rampantly carried out in America. " Voicing your opinion is illegal in many countries, yet it is rampantly carried out in America. I love my 2 cats dearly. They have not lost their balance, they do not have behaviour problems, they did not limp for months. Are you aganist spay/neuter as well? That is actually taking a cats reproductive organs out. It's not a simple "tubaligation" or "vasectomy". It's a full hysterectomy for females and a castration for males. Have a great day! Peace be with you. |
