Neil Help.

I'm interested in a movie made some years ago where the main character felt he was under a lot of stress and kept imagining (visualizing) himself as one of those "monkeys suspended by rubber bands between two sticks" that was made to jump up and down and by someone else manipulating the sticks --sort of like a puppet.

I think it was a comedy, but cannot remember the actors or the title.

Any ideas?
