Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but i think in this case celebrities should not have an opinion on the subject of war because thier name would not be called to go fight in one. The only thing they should be allowed to endorse are ads. |

I ONLY KEEP A INTEREST IN X-FILES REPEATS BECAUSE DAVES TITS ARE SO COOL. I DON'T BELIEVE HE SHOULD BE HIRED AS A IRAQ PEACE KEEPER BECAUSE OF THIS THOUGH. HIS ENVOLVEMENT IN THIS PROJECT IS REALLY CONTROVERSIAL BECAUSE THE RCMP DON'T TAKE THE SHOW SERIOUSLY, THE FBI MAKE UP MORE OLD WIVES TALES THAT REEK LIKE REGINA BEACH, AND HIS ILLICIT RELATIONS WITH T-LEONI(OID)],ARE HORRIBLY DEGRADEING. HE'S NABED IN A PEONY TRAP & BECKER DON'T CARE ABOUT HIS CRACKED-BLUE-CORN. THIS SHOW TELLS THE WORLD--- DEAL WITH MALE SEXUAL ABUSE NOW! BUT DON'T SWAY A VOTE OVER THE THORNY ISSUES. |

IN IRAQ THEY CAN'T DECIDE IF ALL TOGETHER THEY SHOULD AGREE ON A ELECTION OR NOT. SO CAR DEALORS & CLOTH BARTERING WILL GO ON SILLY EONS. PEACE IS MORE LIKELY IF THEY CONTINUE TO OPOSE ELECTIONS. FAMILY IDOLS TO WIN WAR MONGERING DEBATES SHOULD FOREVER BE CONSIDERED DUST. |

All their money and fame and they actors and actresses have no sense. I make a list and keep updating it on who is democrate and make sure that their movies or television shows or music is never played in my house or movies never seen. Maybe they should get real jobs and find out just how bad the democrates are leading them down the toilet. |

I am the Executive Director of a food bank in Illinois and need your financial help. We need money to help expand our children programs - specificially to purchase a drive in cooler/freezer unit to store the type of food items we are getting donated or we purchase. I hope you can help or lead me in the correct direction for help. We can spend billions on a war, but cannot give foodbanks the money to feed our nations children and seniors |

I have been travelling to the ME for over 20 years and have been back from Egypt 3 weeks today after a month working near Libya, Alexandria and Cairo. The changes I have seen in the last 2 years over there are simply amazing but are not being talked about much, if at all. Basically, this war has all the things the Left has told us are we are "bad" if we even think about: 1. It has an element of racism (the enemies are Arabs) 2. The enemy is a different religion (they are Muslim)3. The enemy WANTS TO KILL YOU JUST FOR BEING AN AMERICAN! All over Egypt, there is a spirit of radicalism. On Friday afternoon, in any of the towns, you now here the Mullahs calling for Jihad and death to American and also calling the Israelis "devils"_ I am not making this up! Msot places you go, you are at least going to be argued with if you say you're an American, but I AM VERY PROUD OF THE UNITED STATES and MY BEING AMERICA! What I am saying here is all you liberals just better WAKE UP! We are at war. This thing ain't going away. If you don't believe me, travel to the Mid East now and state publically you arer an American. You will very quickly find out whatI'm talking about. I think all these "stars", statring with Susan Saradon should be sent a town I was in one month ago called Quara in Egypt. Because she's a woman, she couldn't even go into the men's house, and if she was there very long, her attitude would start to be A BIG PROBLEM for her. She absolutely, positively doesn't know how good she's got it here. She (and we) have freedoms and opportunities we don't even realize we have until you go somewhere else. And that's where all the 'stars" should go-SOMEWHERE ELSE! God Bless the United States of America. |

RE:Jake RE Commentary You have never stared death in the face. Our president and his staff have not and did not start this confrontation. How big a picture did you need 911? When a country holds inventory documentation of thousands of unspent wmd's and we find them (the documents) we sure as hell don't sit around until we can smell them. I'd suggest you start reading before you start writing. My heart mourns for your ignorance. HEC. |

I'm with Joann--I refuse to support the celebrities who have tried to shove their beliefs down our throats. I support their right to express their opinions,OH YES,but I heard them, made my own decision, and that's enough. Now that the war is essentially over, they aren't happy about that either! Now they want to run down our Commander-in-Chief and deny him re-election. Whoopie! Their opinions don't mean squat to me now that I know for sure they are just a bunch of spoiled brats who didn't get their way, so they're looking for a way to continue their tantrums. They just want a reason to gripe, so they can somehow believe they are more intelligent than the rest of us. Ha. I vote in a free democracy, my candidate doesn't always win, but I support the leadership of my country and my fellow citizens always. Yes, protesters are free speak out, and so are those of us who protest their protests! Write an e-mail stating your firm and long-term commitment to boycotting ANY work by celebrities who have protested ad nauseum (ex: Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, and the buffoon who used the Oscars as a protest forum--he's not been important enough to me to know his name, but I will find out in order to boycott!), send the e-mail to everyone you know and ask them to boycott and forward the e-mail until the whole USA has considered the idea! (I have nothing against those who expressed their opinions and then respected ours.) Let's show that those of us who support liberation from dictators who oppress, torture, maim, and murder their own people also have an avenue to express our opinions. We aren't celebrities who attract press, but we can unite simply through determination. It would be a real accomplishment to show that celebrity is a fragile thing. If you use your means of support to force yourself on others, it may backfire. If that's OK with you, it's OK with us! Start BOYCOTTING now to show the overbearing "SSSSuperStarrrs!!!" they cannot force us to swallow what we don't want to swallow! |

I would've supported the war all the way from the beginning had our own president not blatantly lied to us. Blair sold this war a lot better than Bush. Bush claimed that Saddam tried to purchase large quantities of Uranium from Niger which was proved false- did Bush fill us in when it was proved false? No. Also if he had not presented phony "satellite photos of a weapons plant" that were also fakes. I feel terrible when the leader of my country lies to me. 80 percent were for the war huh? Did they poll each and every american or a select few? Run along to your fox news now folks. |

There is no Hollywood in Iraq, maybe you would think differently if you had to live there. You wouldn't be stars now would you? You wouldn't be rich, and maybe you wouldn't be alive for long, maybe you would be in prison, maybe you would be gassed, maybe you would be grateful for America, you so called stars need to grow up. I don't support you anymore, won't be watching your movies, but I DO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND OUR LEADER. |

All of the people who are ashamed of being an American should go somewhere else. These young kids, some who are still teenagers have volunteered to fight for this country. They all risked their life so all of you can have the freedom of expressing your views. When they come back, go up to these soldiers and tell them how you support our troops, but not the war. See if that makes sense to them. No one likes war, but just think what could have happened to this country if we waited for Iraq to get stronger and more powerful weapons. You don't think Saddam would do anything to us? This is also a war for freedom, and human dignity. God say we must love our neighbor. Do we turn our backs on the torture of these people. Yes, some people had to die, but died so future generations could live without fear. As far as all these Hollywood war protester-where you in on the plan? Were you involved with all the intelligence we had to make this decision? Lets look at your education compared to the people running our government. This president is someone we can all be proud. He is a true Christian that looks in Scriptures and turns to his faith for direction. At least he has his full attention on what is good for the country. The last president was a little too busy to run the country. I think all these Hollywood actors better leasve the acting to themselves and leave the running to the government to the people who are trained, educated, and who actually know inside information and know what they are doing. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but once the war started, we should all be behind our soldiers, government and country. America is the UNITED states of America. We need unity. I am so proud of our soldiers and our president. George Bush is not running this country by polls. He is true to his word and I have the upmost repect for him. God Bless America. |

I am so glad that all you liberal democrates are squirming in your chairs and grinding your teeth over the fact that you dislike our President...I did just that for eight long years. I got very good at changing channels and avoiding seeing or listening to what Clinton had to say. Finally, I can watch the news again and support our President, happy to watch and hang on every word. So,welcome to the world we Republican's lived in for eight years, I am glad you are unhappy, payback is truly hell! |

Jake and all those who oppose. What is your motive for protesting? It is aparently not for the lives of the Iraqi people, because the only person you seem to be infatuated with and care to mention is President Bush. Your true motives a very transparent. This is all polictical to you. Why don't you come up with some debate as to how liberating the people of Iraq is cause for protest. Let me guess, You spin this back around to question the motives of President Bush right? Lets see, he didn't go there to liberate but to invade, you quote several little factors, put a little spin on it and "presto" it Bushs fault; or this about oil not liberation; Nothing more than politics. Oh! and of course you know all of this from your participation in the intellegence briefings that you attended. geez! Quit acting like such a putz! Why don't you try thinking for your self instead of letting your Political party and it's agenda tell you what to say. Every thing you (Jake) sited has been stated more than once by representatives of the Democratic Party. That don't make it law, just Rhetoric. As for the movie stars, their motives are admittedly polictical. Come on! When you hear people calling Bush "hitler"? Thats not freedom of speech, thats slander. There is nothing American about that.
Hey Jake. "On your next peace march. If you see a sign that says Bush is hitler, or if you hear someone say Bush is hitler, forget the peace thing for a second and kick their butt.....Dennis Miller.

It sure is nice to see people standing up for what this country really stands for! I for one (out of many, 80% I am sure) that know this war is for a good cause! Liberation of a people terrorize for far too long! This morning I, too, along with the citizens of Baghdad cried tears of join at their liberation from a cruel and selfish dictator! How dare these so called "stars" talk their sh*t!!! I for one will NEVER have a Susan Sarandon or Martin Sheen or Matt Damon movie in my house ever again! Those people ought to be shipped to Iraq and have to live those way those brave souls have had to live the last 35 years! What would they do without their big houses, big cars, and big bank accounts! They would be in the streets wetting themselves silly. I strongly support our troops, I wish I could go over there myself and fight! Do these idiots stop and think about how this would make our POWs feel if they saw what these jerks were saying. They think of no one's feelings but their own! I praise everyone who has left supporting comments here! God Bless you! |

Jake, Your rhetoric has really grown old. Yes, the US has made mistakes in the past, but how does that relate to what is going on now? Your "Blame America" crap simply sounds ignorant. Yes, we supported Iraq and Sadaam in their war against what was believed at the time to be a larger evil, Iran. We would do it again. It was a good decision at the time. Do you think it was poor judgement to support Stalin against Hitler? That was a good decision too! Your opposition is totally transparent because it is obvious that you simply don't support President Bush. As long as people like you don't think for yourselves and follow the line of the two political parties, you will continue to polarize America. Issues are not as simple as "Democrat and Republican," "left or right." Anyone in their right mind (incidentally 80% of American People) believe that our action in Iraq is justified. A couple of questions for you: Do you think Sadaam would ask for UN approval to kill you? Believe me, he wants you just as dead as Martin Sheen. Do your homework. The mistakes we made last time won't be made again. We will finish this time and Sadaam will be gone. Make no mistake. It seems very disingenuous of people spouting your rhetoric that you take such a large amount of freedom yourself and strech the Bill of Rights to the limit, but you can't see that the poor people of Iraq don't deserve the same. The economic sanctions you speak of were enforced because none of the money and supplies were going to the Iraqi people. Sadaam used all of the resources to build up his military. Again, we have made mistakes in the past. We aren't perfect (see Bill Clinton). I believe that we are headed on the right track now though. I respect your right to state your opinion and your opposition to President Bush. Take comfort in the fact that within a few days, the Iraqi people will have the same freedom! |

SO BY THAT VERY RESPECT AND VALUES THAT MY PARENTS TAUGHT ME, I WILL NOT SUPPORT ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR OUR COUNTRY. I FEEL THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT LIKE OUR UNITED STATES SHOULD MOVE TO IRAQ WITH SADAAM. THE U.S. WILL DO JUST AS WELL WITHOUT YOU. WONDER IF YOU WOULD DO JUST AS WELL WITHOUT THE U.S.? |

What happened to the good old days when our hollywood stars supported our troops? Bob Hope used to put on USO shows to entertain them. Hollywood used to support the country that feeds them...the United States of America. I can respect a difference of opinion, however, I think the root cause of nearly all of Hollywood's oposition to the war is really politically motivated. Hollywood hates Bush and they want him to fail. How transparent the stars have become! I am shocked and bitterly dissapointed with the attitude in Hollywood. I didn't hear all of these stars bitching when Clinton went into Iraq in 1998, motivated only by his desire to put off his deposition in the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Incidentally, that attack was also without UN approval. Hollywood; you're not putting one over on me. |

I hate to see that Hollywood could not support our troops. Our families are over there fighting and now all you can say is that you don't supports our husbands, our fathers. If you can't supports us why should we support you? Just think if every person in the military stopped buying your movies or watching your shows, how much that would impact you live. You just told me children that you did not support their father. I wish my voice was as loud as yours so I could tell yours the same and see how you felt. |

WOW! I am guessing that I am younger than you (Francine Araujo) yet I can control myself and be more mature than you. Also you wished death upon human beings! (i.e. "do me a favor and stop breathing") Brething is necessary to live, so you pretty much just said you approve of people dieing. Please note how I did not resort to name calling, and you did. Very grown up of you. "Dummies". I love it. I can't believe I am saying this right now, but "buttface" would've been a more grown up name to call people. I mean in 2nd grade I was into the whole "dummy" scene but as I grew a little older, say 5th grade, "buttface" was a much more sufficient insult. I am guessing that if you were in the same room as me you would give me a "wet willy". Also I liked the part in your writing when you mention the little Iraqi children going to sleep hungry. I guess I can't relate to that since I grew up with an alcoholic mother who had off and on jobs and when she did get money would spend it on beer and perscription pills rather than food. And my dad was always there to put food on the table since he left when I was three and had off and on jobs and constant drug problems, and is currently in rehab. Yes my mother wept, yes my dad must have felt bad when he had the time to think about my sisters and I while he was not thinking about crack, cocaine, and/or marijauna. So I can't imagine what it would be like for those Iraqi children to have to go to bed hungry when I did just that for 13 years of my 19. You said "Protester go to hell!!!!!" Well I've been there. Hell is watching your mother shake and convulse on the ground at 2:30 in the morning when you are 13 years old, wondering if she is overdosing and dieing, or if she is gonna just pass out and wake up one more day to drink from dawn til dusk again and not make breakfast or lunch or this "dinner" you speak of. I never think violence is great. About half the population of Iraq is kids 15 and under. Do I think that blowing up their homeland is the best way to solve this problem? Absolutely not. Also for all those people who think questioning our own leader is wrong, another famous president, Theodore Roosevelt, once said, "To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." I am not saying you said this, but people are saying this which suggest that America should be a dictatorship. Not questioning our leader. Yup, if he says we all need to chug liquid plummer, do the macarena, and rape mountain lions, we need to do it without question. And I liked the part about us U.S. Citizens waking up with guns in our faces. WOW AGAIN! You must really have very little faith in our Military. My bro is in the u.s. navy and he doesn't do some b.s. job as a naval dentist, he goes out on a submarine for up to 6 months at a time. Should somebody attack, I feel safe knowing the u.s. military and my bro will protect me. If the united states is truly, whole-heartedly interested in the welfare of the Iraqi people then explain the following:
1. The Bush Administration is not interested in the welfare of the Iraqi people. If they were, they would have supported dropping the economic sanctions that were imposed after the first Gulf War. These sanctions have deprived the Iraqi people adequate food, medicine, and materials necessary to rebuild the country’s infrastructure (roads, water sanitation, etc.) As a result, millions of Iraqis have died from preventable and treatable illnesses, especially children. Economic sanctions have not hurt Saddam Hussein.
2. The Bush Regime does not care about establishing a genuinely democratic system of government in Iraq. For starters, the Bush regime snubbed its nose at democracy in action when they chose to invade Iraq without a United Nations resolution authorizing them do so, which makes this invasion illegal under international law. Secondly, if the US really cared about establishing a free and democratic society in Iraq it should not have made it possible for a ruthless leader like Saddam Hussein to be in power in the first place, never mind supporting him for many years with US military aid.
3. The Bush Administration was never serious about weapons inspections. The Bush Administration repeatedly stated that they were going into Iraq no matter what.
4. The Bush Administration is sending American troops into a very dangerous situation where they could be killed, and where Iraqi civilians may be killed. If America were really serious about wanting the people of Iraq to be free, they would have backed the Iraqi uprisings in 1991, instead George Bush Senior turned his back on them.
5. The population of Iraq is almost 50% children who are under 15. No matter what is going on between our countries they are innocent and do not deserve to be killed, orphaned, or psychologically traumatized.
6. During the last Gulf War, President Bush Sr. encouraged Iraqis who wanted to get rid of Saddam Hussein to rebel. They did so, and then were not backed up by the US government or coalition forces that were necessary to make their rebellion successful. The rebellion was completely crushed. If America was really serious about wanting the people of Iraq to be free, they could have achieved that goal in 1991.
7. The BBC reported that both the CIA and British Intelligence have recently filed reports stating that Iraq is not a threat to anyone outside of its borders and is not likely to attack another nation unless it is attacked.
Francine, you sound very aggressive and violent and you should get that checked out. The pope is against this war. I myself am not religous, but the pope! He is up there. Also remember George Jr. didn't say "Saddam has 48 hours to quit messing with the Iraqi people" he said that he had 48 hours to disarm. He also has people in America thinking that Saddam is going to attack us for sure, be scared folks, terror level is up, even though Iraq hasn't threatened us, and had nothing to do with 9-11 when we were terrorized. Also Iraq shouldn't destroy them there oil wells cause they are valuable to the "Iraqi people". Do I think there are valid reasons to rescue Iraqi people yes, do I think we could've done it without death and destruction HELL YES! I do not think holding hands and singing will solve our problems, but I believe in Unity. Unity is the name of the game. We're all one in a million we're all one in the same. To judge who gets to live or die is playing "god". We could have taken different actions to get reults. The definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. There for I think the definition of sanity should be: doing different things and expecting the same results. I now leave you with a quote from my favorite "Jr.":
"Those of us who love peace must organize as effectively as the war hawks. As they spread the propaganda of war, we must spread the propaganda of peace."
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
Well I guess you want to call him a dummy?!?!? He has stopped breathing though and that seems to make you (Francine Araujo)pretty happy!
We are all human, now's time to prove it.

Protester Go To Hell!!! If you oppose this war you also oppose helping millions of Iraqi citizens who suffer each day while you draw your curtains at home and have a nice dinner with your families. I don’t care if your a teacher, movie star, politician, or mechanic...you are all selfish ignorant disgraces to those who seek equality for ALL humans on Earth. Don’t forget dummies...we already asked Saddam nicely to disarm...and since we don’t have magic fairy dust to make him comply we have to use good ole American force. Get over it folks...or get the f*ck out of a country that thousands have died for. Put this in your pathetic brain washed minds...What do you think this country would be like if we did not stand up to the world and eradicate evil regimes?...We would wake up someday with guns in our faces and we would end up just like those poor Iraqi's. Our country would most definitely be over thrown by another country and you can kiss all your liberties and rights goodbye...DUH!!! If you can’t understand that, if you are really that stupid that you think holding hands and singing will bring about world peace..Do me a favor and stop breathing...or better yet educate yourself and get your crap together. Do you sleep well at night knowing little Iraqi children go to bed hungry and their mothers weep because she can’t feed them...and imagine how the father must feel. I'm going to tell you what...with that country being so rich in oil...there is no reason that every Iraqi should not have a cupboard full of food and gold toilets...
Hollywood protesters..You make me sick. If there isn’t anything more shameful than you...what an embarrassment you are. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe my contempt for you.
Another thing...if you all's are wimps and don’t want to fight in wars..Guess what..You don’t have to..We have enough good Americans boys and girls who step up to the plate for you. You have no place criticizing those who stand up for something and are willing to give their lives so you can be safe and cozy in your shacks at home...I think we should send all you stupid protesters packing to a nice communist country so you can have a little taste of reality, maybe it will wake you up, maybe you will develop a sense of appreciation for what you have. Selfish Pigs!

People who oppose this immoral war do not oppose America. I love my country. But I do not agree with our "leader" and his power trip. Forgive me for thinking that 200 billion dollars can be spent on far better things than death and destruction. What about the staggering economy? What about educating our future leaders of America? What about feeding some homeless people? What about some medical research? I am all for SAVING human life not ending human life. Also we are not so innocent and perfect as everybody thinks. How about Militarytesting in Vieques, Peurto Rico that kills the native islanders? Go America right there on that one. I also have some facts for you about our "leader" george jr.
And these are only since he's been inaugurated! This guy doesn't waste any time ruining the world...
1) He cut a half a BILLION dollars from the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget. Who needs to look after the environment when there’s all that oil drilling going on?
2) He approved a bill that denies financial aid to students convicted of misdemeanor drug charges (though convicted murderers are still eligible for financial aid).
3) He recently sent a delegation to the UN children’s summit to declare that the use of condoms is not a valid way to fight AIDS and that abstinence is the only solution. This is the view shared by some other countries such as Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Syria, and the Vatican. It seems that his policy of, "No child shall be left behind" has a whole new meaning.
4) He wouldn’t sign the Kyoto Protocol agreement on global warming, which was ultimately signed by 178 other countries. He also told the entire European community that he would listen to their arguments, but he would not change his mind, effectively treating Europe like an 8 year old child. This may have something to do with why most of the world hates the US.
5) He rejected an international accord to enforce the 1972 treaty banning germ warfare. Of course that would mean that the US would have to stop producing biological agents too.
6) And talk about the fox watching over the hen house, he nominated former mining company executive Dan Lauriski as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Mine Safety and Health.
7) He allocated only 3% of the amount requested by Justice Department lawyers in the governments continued litigation against tobacco companies.
8) He prohibited any financial aid from going to international family planning organizations that provide abortion counseling, referrals, or services with their own funds.
9) He provided every member of the Bin Laden family living in the U.S. a chartered plane shortly after 9/11 to fly back home to Saudi Arabia without questioning them. One of GW’s first petroleum venture was partnered with the Bin Laden family and George Sr. has been getting filthy rich selling defense contracts to the Bin Ladens. These are just some examples of the many ties the Bush family has with the Bin Ladens.
10) He officially withdrew from the 1972 Antiballistic Missile Treaty, gutting the landmark agreement-the first time in the nuclear era that the US renounced a major arms control accord.
11) Refused to join 123 nations pledged to ban the use and production of anti-personnel bombs and mines, February 2001
12) September 2001: withdrew from International Conference on Racism, bringing together 163 countries in Durban, South Africa
13) Over the past 10 years, the US prison population has more than doubled. This is mainly due to unfair three strikes laws, and harsher drug penalties. OK so maybe W. wasn’t behind this one, but the Republicans are.
14) International Plan for Cleaner Energy: G-8 group of industrial nations (US, Canada, Japan, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, UK), July 2001: the US was the only one to oppose it.
15) George replied, "Ken who?" when asked about his relationship with Kenneth Lay, the CEO of Enron, during the federal bankruptcy hearings. This was after Enron gave him their company jet to use for his presidential campaign. George and Kenny were such good friends that Ken was actually seen giving wedgies to the president in the oval office. Yet he still replied, "Ken who?"
I think a bowl of soup could run this country and get better results. And I must state I am living in a military family so I do not oppose the military, just the orders they are forced to follow.
A letter from Terry Jones
I'm really excited by George Bush's latest reason for bombing Iraq: he's running out of patience. And so am I!
For some time now I've been really pissed off with Mr Johnson, who lives a couple of doors down the street. Well, him and Mr Patel, who runs the health food shop. They both give me queer looks, and I'm sure Mr Johnson is planning something nasty for me, but so far I haven't been able to discover what. I've been round to his place a few times to see what he's up to, but he's got everything well hidden. That's how devious he is. As for Mr Patel, don't ask me how I know, I just know - from very good sources - that he is, in reality, a Mass Murderer. I have leafleted the street telling them that if we don't act first, he'll pick us off one by one.
Some of my neighbours say, if I've got proof, why don't I go to the police? But that's simply ridiculous. The police will say that they need evidence of a crime with which to charge my neighbours. They'll come up with endless red tape and quibbling about the rights and wrongs of a pre-emptive strike and all the while Mr Johnson will be finalising his plans to do terrible things to me, while Mr Patel will be secretly murdering people. Since I'm the only one in the street with a decent range of automatic firearms, I reckon it's up to me to keep the peace. But until recently that's been a little difficult.
Now, however, George W. Bush has made it clear that all I need to do is run out of patience, and then I can wade in and do whatever I want! And let's face it, Mr Bush's carefully thought-out policy towards Iraq is the only way to bring about international peace and security. The one certain way to stop Muslim fundamentalist suicide bombers targeting the US or the UK is to bomb a few Muslim countries that have never threatened us. That's why I want to blow up Mr Johnson's garage and kill his wife and children. Strike first! That'll teach him a lesson. Then he'll leave us in peace and stop peering at me in that totally unacceptable way.
Mr Bush makes it clear that all he needs to know before bombing Iraq is that Saddam is a really nasty man and that he has weapons of mass destruction - even if no one can find them. I'm certain I've just as much justification for killing Mr Johnson's wife and children as Mr Bush has for bombing Iraq. Mr Bush's long-term aim is to make the world a safer place by eliminating 'rogue states' and 'terrorism'. It's such a clever long-term aim because how can you ever know when you've achieved it? How will Mr Bush know when he's wiped out all terrorists? When every single terrorist is dead? But then a terrorist is only a terrorist once he's committed an act of terror.
What about would-be terrorists? These are the ones you really want to eliminate, since most of the known terrorists, being suicide bombers, have already eliminated themselves. Perhaps Mr Bush needs to wipe out everyone who could possibly be a future terrorist?
Maybe he can't be sure he's achieved his objective until every Muslim fundamentalist is dead? But then some moderate Muslims might convert to fundamentalism. Maybe the only really safe thing to do would be for Mr Bush to eliminate all Muslims? It's the same in my street. Mr Johnson and Mr Patel are just the tip of the iceberg. There are dozens of other people in the street who I don't like and who - quite frankly - look at me in odd ways. No one will be really safe until I've wiped them all out. My wife says I might be going too far but I tell her I'm simply using the same logic as the President of the United States. That shuts her up. Like Mr Bush, I've run out of patience, and if that's a good enough reason for the President, it's good enough for me. I'm going to give the whole street two weeks - no, 10 days - to come out in the open and hand over all aliens and interplanetary hijackers, galactic outlaws and interstellar terrorist masterminds, and if they don't hand them over nicely and say 'Thank you', I'm going to bomb the entire street to kingdom come. It's just as sane as what George W. Bush is proposing - and, in contrast to what he's intending, my policy will destroy only one street.

All I can say is I'm embarrassed. Go make movies in France! Actually all of you should make a peace-nik movie. It starts off with US soldiers dying so a bunch of spoiled, soon-to-be-has-been movie stars, can exercise their right to "free" speech protesting against their country. That should sell! |

you celebs should be ashamed, you live and work in a great country and should be more supportive of our leaders. Will you be so outspoken when something worse than 911 happens as a result of not going to war with Iraq? Will you personally console those who will loose loved ones, our military people are willing to give their lives for our country, what are you willing to give other than lip service? I agree with the others who will no longer support your careers, furthermore I will not visit any movie theater or video store until Saddam is disarmed, and I hope more Americans do the same. |

If we don't stop the evil where it lives it will be over here. We have already suffered at the hands of evil on 9-11 it seems as though you all have forgotten the people killed that day and the families torn apart. I for one will watch for movies the stars on this petition are in and boycott them. It is evident that they don't support our freedom or they are to stoned to realize that freedom has never been free. Hollywood needs to get back to basics anyway they don't have any morals. There was another place like that once I believe it was Sodom and Gommorah It was taken care of by a higher authority that a lot of people out there want to forget. Bette Middler once sang a song with the words God is watching us and its still true today. Its time we stand up and take a stand against evil in Iraq as well as right in our own back yards. People need to be praying for the leaders of this country instead of bad mouthing them. United we stand divided we fall. I read Charlie Daniels message to you so called stars I agree with him. If you hate it here LEAVE. |

It's ironic that all of you are crying out for "peace, not war"... Sure peace is more Politically Correct, yet if we have peace now, how long is it going to last? And what do you propose we do if after we leave Saddam alone for awhile, he uses whose weapons against us??? I'm sure you'll have nothing to say then. Like Jana said...he has had 12 years to disarm, and you're asking for more time? Come on now, think about the consequences |

Sadaam has had TWELVE years to meet the mandates of the UN Security Council. Not upholding the mandates to disarm - COMPLETELY- destroys the credibility of the UN and the US and every other freedom loving country in the world. I hope that you all have seen Charlie Daniels' little note addressed to you goofuses. It speaks tomes for those of us who have veterans in our family and understand the concept of patriotism and freedom for ALL (Iraqis included). I used to pay good money to see/read anything you ever had your hand on, Mr. Damon. I will now put my good money back in my pocketbook. |

All you so-called Americans who are embarresed to be here. Go somewhere else and try and make 20 million dollars a movie. You celebrities should be ashamed of yourselves. I am not watching any of your movies. |
