Alvin L. Giel Hi there, I was looking at your very interesting idea of a World cup of Baseball. Lets not forget the Netherlands as the European Champions, they could use all the the help from Andruw Jones, Randall Simon, Sydney Ponson and other less famous mjor leaguers from Curacao and Aruba to their team due to their dutch nationality. I think the Dutch team would be stronger than like for example the Australian team. Do not forget also about the national Cuba team, they are very though. Everybody knows that mostly of their players are Bigleague level category. Two other nations with Baseball on a profesional level are Italy and Korea.
