Golden oldies top number ones list

There is cheese, there is schmaltz, raw emotion and the odd killer tune in the list of the nation's favourite number ones of all time. The list, released yesterday, shows that the public prefers older songs to modern tunes.

Keirstin this was exactly whast I was looking for. I am 17, and am looking to get an MP3 player, and I don't want any of those som\ngs that will fade out in a week, I want the classics. This reminded me how many there actually was. THANKS 4/11/2006
