How I learnt to love atheists

Atheism and religion have something in common: they can both bring out the very worst in us. A glance back over the last thousand years provides far too many instances of hideous crimes against humanity carried out in the names of all major religions and belief systems, including, of course, atheism.

Justin Atheism is not a belief system. Atheist listen to what religious people have to say about the supernatural, and about all the things their god has "said" to humans, and we say, "I don't think so." 11/6/2007
Mary124 Atheism is a religion because religion is a relationship between man and god and an Atheist does not believe an any god. But there is still that relationship there. 1/18/2005

I'm sorry, but you're incorrect. Atheism is *not* a "belief system" at all, and atheists aren't "people of faith" as you suggest. Atheism is merely a position where someone is without belief in gods. (prefix a- means without, theism means belief in a god). Do not molest the definition of atheism like that again, it only shows your ignorance. Thank you. www.mushukyou.com
