Anger at 'cheap gimmick' of anti-gay adoption card

Adoption campaigners yesterday condemned as a "cheap gimmick" a new kidney donor-style card for parents opposed to gay adoption as research indicated a significant shift towards public support for new rights for same-sex couples.

uncollectedprose First off, tce, gay does not equate with pedophile. Secondly, I am a gay man with four adopted children, three daughters (six weeks, eighteen months, and six years) and a son (three years) and I think it's disgusting anyone would indicate a sex preference, but straight couples do it all the time. (The most requested child is a newborn girl because of wild fear a non-white boy will be violent.) My partner and I did not hide our sexual orientation when adopting any of our children and we were patient enough to adopt domestically. However, two of our children are non-white and their "cultures" do not respect homosexuality. It isn't bad that they aren't being taught to hate gay people. I would also like to know the show of which you speak, as two couples cannot jointly adopt a child like that. I would also like to know how they completed their homestudy. Frankly, tce, it looks like you're trying to stir things up and didn't expect a gay dad to say a thing. People like you need to actually get to know someone rather than judging because of your own issues. 7/29/2004
tce I watched a show last night where a usa gay couple addopted a vietnamese boy. They did it in full knowledge this was innapropriate by the vietnamese cultural and value standards and possibly law. So they took 2 women with them to fake hetrosexuality. This is a blatant example of where the tolerant 'gays' have mistreated another culture for thier own gain and have shown intolerance and scorn for another races values. Further I find it highly suspect that gay men choose to adopt a male asian infant, and was only conisdering male infants.
