Lois The article I just read was very helpful. We have a large flower pot on the patio and one morning I noticed a pile of dead grass in the pot. When I started pulling the grass out, I noticed rabbit fur. Then a tiny little leg! Yep, a mommy rabbit has built a nest in the flower pot and had babies. Not wanting to disturb the nest, I have no idea how many are in there, but know they can't be more than a few days old. I've seen her run from the patio early in the morning around 5 am, so I know she is coming in and feeding them. Can't wait to see them grow up! 9/19/2011

angeline now i know!i have rabbits i feed.water,and care them they are already 1 yr and 4months they born 12 babies and 2 only was alive i was surprised but they died also!from October to now they did not give birth already :( 4/13/2011

babyrabbit My pet rabbit just had a baby this morning. I found it fallen on the floor. There was only one though, is that strange considering the average number of babies is 6 to 12? And the mother seemed like she had no idea. We've been carrying the baby around and now she's probably got our smell attached to it. Will the mother recognize it? 11/19/2009
