It's your worst nightmare: your ex dumps you and immediately starts dating another girl. You never got a chance to fix your break up, or make him miss you, or convince him that you should still be together. And now your ex has a new girlfriend; someone he's taking to the same places he took you, doing the same things without you. So how do you get your ex back from another girl?

Anthony Dignity... well, I think you're right and you're wrong.

You're right in that cheating usually begets more cheating. You should be very wary of a guy who leaves any relationship to date you again by cheating on the girl he's with. However, I didn't advocate that type of action here.

Getting your boyfriend back requires that he wants you. You can't make him want you if the two of you have gone separate ways. Contact is therefore required. And while he's dating another girl? That contact unfortunately has to be secret.

In an ideal world, your ex would leave this girl on his own, realize he loves you, and come back. That type of fantasy makes a great movie, but it would've made for a very short article.

I agree with you that embedding yourself as a friend in order to undermine your exboyfriend's relationship isn't an ideal situation. But the point of the article is to make yourself available long enough for your ex to realize he still loves you. And if he doesn't? You're doomed anyway.

Sometimes just being around you again can change a guy's mind, especially after he's had the chance to date someone else. You can't always know which side of the fence the grass is greener on, until you've hopped over.

dignity so, what you're basically saying is, try to rekindle an old relationship by indicating to your ex, who you obviously used to have problems with, that cheating is okay. so when he gets bored of you the second time, he'll go pork some other floozie behind YOUR back!
