| Lisa | Control rabbit urine smell by using wood-pelleted litter. I use horse bedding (wood pellets for a cast iron wood burner/stove don't work the same), it's inexpensive and lasts for a couple of weeks before it needs changed. Also with the rex breed. Pay close attention to GI (stomach gurgles), stasis is more prone in this beautiful breed. |

| Jessi Ann | I think the rex rabbit is a unique pet to own but, to myself on all comments, the sweetest rabbits are Holland Lops but, i do remember that i have owned a mini rex in the past. They r very sweet. |

| emily | As an experienced rabbit owner I would like to say that I would not reccomend the rex rabbit as a pet, I strongly believe that due to the fact they have been used as meat rabbits previously they are not a handleable size both for adults and children and also because obviously when they were used as meat rabbits they were bred so that they weren't active so keeping the weight on which is not ideal for a rabbit who you would expect to live a long and happy life. This is part of the reason most die younger than other breeds. | 6/19/2010 |
| Sayali | If your Rex sheds a lot, he must be going through a shedding period. Relax, it is temporary! Just wet your hands and stroke your rabbit in the direction of his fur, to remove all dead hair. You should brush him regularly, again in the direction of his fur. They enjoy being brushed, but you should not bathe them. They are already one of the cleaner pets and bathing usually stresses them out. | 12/3/2009 |
| CLOE | I love this informaiion but i have a question. how daily should you groom your rex bunnie mine is really soft and sheds so much. | 12/3/2009 |
| Sayali | Thanks for reading my article, Tilli. Tell me, where can I get a brother like yours (one that gifts away a rex.). Anyways, your rex will actually do a lot of running around, it is advisable to keep him within a confined room, whenever you're away. It is also advisable not to leave him out, as the eagles and other birds of prey will give him a hard time. | 7/29/2009 |
| tilli | omg my brother gave me a rex rabbit and it is so adorable. it is extremely soft and is like a honey, tanned colour. i think this article helped me a lot because i have like never had a rabbit before and yeah. um do they need to run around a lot? and is it ok to leave it out in the summer and winter? | 7/28/2009 |
