Felicity Maris I see your point; however, the question is: why do you try so hard to prove yourself to these people? And in line with this, how important are these people in your life that you are driven to strive hard just so that you can prove yourself to them? Please keep in mind that each one of us has many other things to think about that we often fail to give others the chance to prove themselves worthy of our respect or attention. for all you know, they may be so preoccupied that they don't even recognize that you're making an effort already. give them time and persist in bettering yourself. think of it this way: before proving yourself to others, prove yourself to yourself first. Once you have managed to defeat your own weaknesses, everything will follow and others are bound to take notice of you. Ironically though, at this point you may come to the realization that there is no point in proving yourself to them after all. 6/9/2009
nicky this really makes alot of sense . when you are really trying and success seems so far fetched. what do you ex[pect the person to think. i try to adjust and do things the right way but people wouldn't even give me a chance to prove myself. 6/8/2009
