Richard Welch Earth's climate has been highly erratic for the past million years or so (Pleistocene era). What we are experiencing is merely the peak of the present interglacial phase -- as is clearly indicated by the historic pattern, geopulsation theory, and the dampening of temp increases in recent years (see Roots of Cataclysm, Algora Publ. NY 2009). The warm peak will be followed by another glacial phase of the Pleistocene as has inevitably been the case in the past. . CO2 is virtually irrelevant: Increases in this benign trace gas are symptoms of warming, not causes. 10/20/2011
