Jolie Joe It is obvious that the federal loans will provide you a limited amount and the reason behind it they don't require a cosigner as well as they don't go for your good credit ratings. Still there are private loans but they always require good credit ratings in order to believe that you will repay the money. There is very few chance after these federal loans. You require $14,000 which is a huge amount and for this you must find someone in your family or friends with good credit score and become your cosigner. you can also find your self companies that are providing the bad credit student loans without Cosigner. Unsecured student loans don't give you that big amount so go

Becca It's still unhelpful. I got the largest amount of Federal loans that any student can get and I still need $14,000. I looked at private loans but I have no credit history and my parents refuse to cosign or allow me to ask anyone to cosign for me. I'm screwed to go to community college, and I'm a freaking 3.98 GPA student. I know there are tons of students in my position and there's nothing out there helping us. 4/30/2009
