Sammy I have extremely thick hair. My hair stylist says, "Jeez, such thick hair! You know, you have three times the normal thickness of hair." My hair puffs out and goes a stray with the common let-it-flow long hair that you don't style, so I'm trying to solve that. This article helped. Thanks! BUT this article says that bangs are a strict "no-no" but another site locksoflove or loveintrest or something (sorry, forget) strongly recomends them. I've had bangs for 13 years, and they actually make my hair look better. I tried a year without bangs, and it was a disaster. Go bangs! 7/30/2011
Kelsey :) Well... I have really messy poofy hair and its up to my sholders and the person who cut my hair gave me layers beside the back of my scalp. And it made is worse! What do I do? What kind of hairstyles will work to make it look good? I just usually wear it down with TONS of Mouse. 3/24/2011
ashley i have very thick hair and im not that old so... i wear my hair in a ponytail to school everyday, and ill take a shower the night before in the morning my hair will be tangled and all frizzy and messy. i try brushings it but its more like yanking till i get the knoughts out. And i need a new hairstyle besides a ponytail, because its getting old. 3/3/2011

Tiffany I have thick hair and have bangs. They do not overcrowd my face or are unmanageable. If my hair was super curly then, yes, it would be a hassel. But my hair is naturally wavy and they set just fine. In fact, I would look horrible w/o them since my forehead is more on the longer side. 6/19/2009
