Karen Hamilton Meat was never loaded with toxins like it is today, unless you grow your own on an organic farm. Antibiotics, steroids etc. - we were not meant to ingest this stuff and neither were the animals. Just try reducing your meat consumption and experience how much better you feel. Many people with arthritis benefit greatly from eliminating red meat from their diets. 4/27/2010
Karen Hamilton I think this is really good advice. Have done this reducing acidic foods before following a colonic cleanse program and felt so much better for it. Must try it again now. 4/27/2010
Linda Stop going after red meat, we are carnivores after all. Beef is just fine as is lamb, goat, venison, elk, rabbit and other game that prehistoric man ate. Get off the stupid anti beef bandwagon. Stearic acid is good for humans. Do you actually think that the hunter gatherers did not eat the meat they killed? Enough already. 12/10/2009
