Jim-Columbia SC Your article gave me more instructions about post-injury treatment than my orthopaedic doctor did. Although he did prescribe some high-powered Motrin for pain, suggested an MRI was needed, he gave no instructions on what to do between first visit and MRI. Google your article. meenakshi my name is meenakshi .i am 25 yeras old. I had a knee injury of grade III tear of medial collateral ligament+ grade III tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus before 2 & half years alongwith knee fracture. Fracture is ok after the plaster but my knee is paining every time due to ligament tear ,my knee bend completely i have only pain , stiffness & other prob. kindly suggest me a good treatment for this.tks 6/10/2009
daryl o. under the surgury heading you state that among the options the surgeon has to choose from, replacement is listed. I would be greatly interested in what exactly that entails. I was unaware that modern techniques included replacement menisci. Is this available to the general public or do I need to be Superbowl MVP to be eligiable? At least indicate where to go for more detailed information. 5/20/2009
