| Will Haas | The flower shown is Hippeastrum hybrid. It is not Amarylis belladonna. You have got them mixed up. | 1/28/2012 |
| Douglas S. | just want to clear something up , the photo and description in this article are actually Hippeastrum ( also called Amaryllis) but not to be confused with Amaryllis Belladonna (also called resurectionLily/ Belladonna Lily ) this Amaryllis blooms in late summer - early fall after its foliage dies down... to Marcus Billman , if its Amaryllis Belladonna you are growing its normal for the leaves to die off.., a few weeks later (about 6) you should see bare wine red flower stalks that will have 4 to 12 pink trumpet shaped flowers keep in mind newly planted bulbs may not bloom for a year or 2 | 8/19/2011 |
| Marie Eby | My bulbs don't bloom. What am I doing wrong. I follow directions in the box. but no flowers? | 2/19/2011 |
| marcus billman | how can i stop the the leaves from falling off | 2/10/2011 |
