| Oliver Almer | Where is the gratitude? What have we done to help our motherland? We all must admit that we owe the blessings that we now enjoy from our DepEd. But perhaps DepEd forgot to teach us the values of gratitude as we all have been considered and trained by them as the most important resource of our country. (Another form of grand scale human trafficking/slavery?) Unless we start productivity in our country, we will always be the source of cheap export quality resource. The reason why our country depends on remittances. WARNING to our leaders! Sooner or later this remittances will no longer be remitted because of so many reasons. This is a wake up call! | 6/26/2011 |

| oliver almero | PHILIPPINE ECONOMIC PROBLEM The major economic problems mentioned are not really economic problems but rather the results of a major single over all problem that causes them and which up to now have not been identified and accepted by Filipinos. The real cause of these results or as they are commonly called as problems is the quality of education system Filipinos received. Education is the common denominator of all Filipinos. All will pass this system of education. The Dept. of Education have been successful with their mission and vision. That is, they believe that the most important resource of the Philippines is its people, hence reliance on remittances as the main source of income. So the main sole problem is unless Filipinos are trained to become managers of resources instead of becoming cheap quality export resource, results will not only be poor economy but also poor social condition and human behaviour How can you solve Import-Export Imbalance when there is nothing to export except the people considered by DepEd as the main resource? How can you solve decline of the Phil. Peso without the export and productivity? How can you solve remittances dependency if you only export human resource? |

| Phil McCrakin | Actually the Philippine economy is not in fact facing any of these problems discussed. The Philippines have an estimated 76, 500, 000 in the year 2000 this has dramatically increased to 83, 601, 000 to the current year 2011. With the increase of population the President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has increased spending on the Philippino economy to put wealth back into the country. Also this spending has improved firms out put into the economy making it stronger than ever before. Also exports has far exceeded the imports now due to the large under ground mineral boom (excuse the pun). Due to China and Japans large need for minerals it is the Philippines role to give them the resources and due to their proximity the Philippines is a prime trading partner for the big countries. also due to the large amount of export being made it is injecting money through the Circular Flow Model back into the Philippines. this is strengthening the peso which makes the current exchange rate for it into Australian dollars $1 AUS for 89.78 pesos. this is much stronger than many other countries in the Southern part of Asia. Finally due to the large amount of improvement the country is going through large business's like Rio Tinto are investing in the country and has improved the countries standards making it better than majority of it's neighbours. also because of that all the neighbours major business is now relocating into the Philippines and producing revenue for the Philippines. this is making it better and them worse. i think you need to check your facts buddy. | 6/8/2011 |

Economic problems are not the reason why Philippines is in the level of being in the second to the last poorest country.Philippines is known to be wealth in natural resources then this should not be happen to the next generation.Start to function now as a concern individual in the Philippines.Filipinos wake up make use of it. | 6/22/2010 |
